Earth’s Ecological Carrying Capacity

The size of the human population and the consumption of each individual are out of whack with the ecology of the planet. If an island can ecologically support 100 humans at a subsistence consumption level, then that is the limit of population size and consumption level set by nature and not millions as set by our current economic system. We therefore must return to nature to save the planet.
