Extinction

In 2020 it was estimated that 15 million species live on our planet, but only 2 million are currently known to science.  Furthermore, it is estimated that approximately 900,000 species have gone extinct between 1993 and 2022.  And that trend is accelerating. The reason is that once one species dies the balance of the reset in an ecosystem becomes increasingly unstable causing a dominos effect.  Within the next 78 years, a mass extinction will occur with the point of no return fast approaching.
