Genetic Engineering and Nature

Genetics is the modeling clay of nature. This genetic material needs to make the species fit into its natural environment. This means it will allow the organism to survive and have its offspring survive as well. Genetic engineering is the manipulation of a species’ genetics to fulfill the needs of humans.

Unfortunately, while nature has 4 billion years of wisdom behind it, Genetic engineering is a technology from the human intellect that is still green behind the ears. It is in reality a shot in the dark and like all other human technologies will only lead the planet to the abyss.
