The Optimum Population Size

In Balance With

The Ecology of The Earth’s Environments

There has been a lot of debate about the sustainable human population size for Earth.  There have been estimates of around 10 billion as the maximum size.  This focus group believes that a more responsible estimate must consider other factors such as the flora and fauna needed to support a healthy environment.  We believe that humans evolved as hunter-gatherers, which is the best lifestyle for humans on Earth as dictated by nature.  To estimate the size of a hunter-gatherer population on Earth the following link to a copyrighted Microsoft spreadsheet that was developed and is available to you to test your theories.
